The CHICKS are here! Easter festivities and my New Swap!

Good morning all - Hope your Easter weekend was lovely. We had another fun filled weekend.  For starters, I finally got my chicks!  I'm so excited and it is such fun to watch them!  They are too cute.   We'll be putting the finishing touches on the garden shed turned chicken coop soon, and once it gets warmer we'll be moving them out there.  Right now they are too small and it is just too cold!

In addition to having the family all here for Easter Sunday, on Saturday we had a surprise 50th birthday party for my brother.  We got him good - he didn't suspect a thing-and he had a great time.
My brother, Jon & his daughter, Kristen, who's looking a little sheepish after pulling off a surprise party for him.

Maria, Drew, Scott, Steph & my niece Holly w/ her hubby Josh

Nephew Jake had a mishap with some cake frosting!
Although I was fairly busy last week, I did manage to post about my new Swap - and if you want to learn all about it, just click HERE to learn what all the buzz is about!  I'd love to have you join!   I also included a linky on my right sidebar.....I sure would appreciate it if you could grab the code and share the swap on your blog!

Off to clean to chicks and do some housework.  Have a lovely week everyone!

Yes, I see the sheepish grin on Kristen's face, that is too funny. I love surprise parties, they are so much more fun. Looks like a great time was had by all, especially Jake. =]
