Welcome to 
Christmas in July!

I'm trying a little something different for this sale.  It's always hard to keep up with comments and who comments first on FB, so this sale will feature each item, with a description and then a Paypal Button to purchase.  You can use Paypal even if you don't have a Paypal account.

Today's first offering is.....

Santa in Red Plaid
Santa's head is made of osnaburg, which I have needle-sculpted and stained.  His eyes are hand-painted and his beard, hair and eyebrows are genuine sheep wool.  His body is a soft plaid in red and black.  He wears a scarf of stained cheesecloth.  Santa carries a vintage bottle brush tree and a BELIEVE wooden sign.
He measures 24" long and is best displayed hanging, but can also sit.

Next up is my
Green Plaid Santa


Santa's head is made of knit fabric, which I have needle-sculpted and stained.  His eyes are hand-painted and his beard, hair and eyebrows are genuine sheep wool.  His body is a soft plaid in green, navy and black.  He wears a scarf of black flannel. Santa carries a grungy teddy bear and prim candy cane.
He measures 24" long and is best displayed hanging, but can also sit.

My next offering is 
Santa & Tilly the Hen
Made of stained muslin with needle-sculpted features, Santa wears a barn red and tan homespun coat and a red knit hat with rusty bell.  He has a leather belt around his waist, bead eyes and genuine curly sheep wool beard and hair.  In his arms he carries his pet chicken, Tilly, who is made of stained muslin with twine tail and wings.  Santa also carries a little bag made from a old quilt piece, which is filled with a sprig of dried sweet annie.  It has a rusty wire handle.  Measures 18" long. This duo is made to hang...cute as can be!

Here is Missy the Christmas Cat.  
She is made of painted and stained muslin, with hand-painted eyes, perle cotton nose and genuine horse hair whiskers.  She wears a pretty red plaid dress with snowflakes, trimmed with a green button and lovely ruffled trim at the neck, sleeves and atop her white boots.  She carries a little evergreen wreath with a red bow and Christmas Wishes sign.   Her wings are made of stained muslin and have hand-stitched perle cotton details.  She measures 18" long and can hang or sit.

Santa in Dark Green

Large Santa Wall-Hanger
Made of stained muslin with needle-sculpted face, this wonderful Santa has a beard of stained cotton batting and eyes hand-stitched using perle cotton.  His hat is made of a soft red/green plaid flannel with a large red jingle bell and pine and berry trim.
He measures 15" high.  Would look wonderful placed inside a wreath, but perfect alone too.  He is made to hang.

Next up is
Shamus the Snowman
Made of painted and stained muslin, Shamus wears fuzzy red overalls with white trim.  He has a black belt with snowflake button.  His scarf is a festive red and black flannel.  His eyes are hand-stitched perle cotton, and his mouth is made of french knots.  His nose is a rusty old nail.  His hat is black flannel.  I've added a tag that says Christmas is on it's Way and attached it with a rusty safety pin.  Shamus measures 21" long and can sit or hang.

This fellow is near and dear to my heart. 
I call this Snowman Clarence.
Clarence is made of painted and stained muslin.  He has black perle cotton eyes and mouth.  His nose is painted orange.  He wears a festive green and red plaid pair of overalls.  His suspenders have green buttons.  He has a stained cotton batting scarf, and rusty jingle bells on his scarf and black flannel hat.  His prim candy cane is also decorated with a rusty bell.  Clarence can sit or hang...a most adorable fellow...he measures 27" tall.

Christmas blues Santa


Made of painted and stained muslin, he has needle-sculpted nose, hand-painted eyes and genuine sheep wool hair and beard.  His lovely coat is made of a soft blue flannel, trimmed with a fancy cream trim.  He carries a sweet prim reindeer, made of painted and stained muslin with stick antlers.  He also carries a grapevine wreath, prim white bottle brush tree with ornaments and a sweet little antique book "Kriss Kringle", with reindeer on the front.  The book can be removed for reading as a bedtime story, and then easily tucked back into his arm.  Santa is mounted on a piece of 120 year old barn wood from an old barn on our property.  He measures 19" tall and is full of details.  A treasure to be handed down, he comes signed and dated.

My final offering for today is another heirloom Santa.

He is made of painted and stained muslin, with needle-sculpted face and genuine sheep wool hair and beard.  His coat is a festive red and green plaid and is trimmed in a furry cream stained trim.  I've sewn 5 rusty bells to the front.  His hat is a textured dark green flannel with rusty jingle bell sewn on the end. Santa carries the cutest handmade wooly sheep, with stick legs and a holly berry wreath on it's neck.  He also holds a bi-colored green bottle brush tree, prim metal lantern and starry garland.  He is mounted on a piece of 120 year old barn wood from our old barn, and he measures 20" tall.  Comes signed and dated.  So lovely and full of detail.
