Good Morning and Welcome
to the annual
Ravenwood Whimzies Primitives
12 Days of Christmas Celebration!
This year I'll be doing something different!
I've gathered together some very talented ladies, and each day, I will be introducing you to one of them, and directing you to their blog, where they will share a festive tutorial or pattern and a yummy recipe. We've all been working hard to make this Blog Hop special, so please join us each day, right here on Ravenwood Whimzies Primitives, and from here you can click your way through each day's posts for all the fun and festive ideas, as we Share & Celebrate this wonderful season!
We are all hoping this Blog Hop will be a lot of fun for you all!
So, without further delay, let me introduce you to our first Blogger!
Day One
of the
12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop
begins
with my dear friend, Lecia of Farmhouse Prims.
Lecia lives in the picturesque Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. My husband, Chris, and I were lucky to have an opportunity to visit Lecia and her husband, Ronnie, back in August. They invited us to visit their other property, an old farmhouse in West Virgina, where we were treated to some real back woods hospitality! Now, if you are familiar with Lecia's blog, you would think that her name is pronounced Lee-Sha...but nope...I found out when we visited that her name is actually Lisa! Her Mom created the usual spelling when she was born.
Lecia shares that on Christmas Eve, her whole family gathers at their home for festivities. Christmas Day is more laid back...they watch movies, relax and enjoy the special day. Some of Lecia's family favorites during the holiday season are spiced cider, special cookies and cheese balls. From the wonderful hospitality we received while visiting their farmhouse, I am sure that this close-knit family has many special times during the holiday season.
So, let's get ready to Deck the Halls and head on over to Lecia's blog, Farmhouse Prims to see what she will be sharing with us to help bring the wonderful Christmas season to light!
Lecia also has a Facebook business page, which you can find by following THIS link.

Hi Wendy, your introduction of me really touched my heart. I am so glad that I was able to meet you and Chris in person, you know you are family now. So excited about the Christmas Blog hop, I am honored to be a part of this. I am excited about each and every day. You have worked so hard and I know it will be a huge success. Bunches of hugs, Lecia
ReplyDeleteHi Wendy,
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely Blog Lecia has created. I love her tutorial for that beautiful table runner and that recipe is one that needs making this week.
Thank you for inviting me, and for putting this wonderful 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop together, thank you for all the long hours and hard work.
Prudence is over at Lecia's (again) visiting but she sends her hugs and says that the world is a more bee-u-tee-ful place because you are in it, and I agree.
Happy December 1, sweet friend.
Wendy your blog hop is wonderful! Lecia is a dear friend I met while blogging a few years ago and we've managed to share much between the two of us and became great "swap" partners. My home is blessed to have many of her wonderfully made handmades for various seasons.
ReplyDeleteI bet that personal visit is one either of you will ever forget!
Blessings~
