Yes, I realize it is just a tad early for winter, but if you get as busy as I do come November, the last thing you need is another swap hanging over your head, so I thought we should get started on the second installment of our Bi-Annual Pin Keep Swap.
We've done a couple of Fall-themed swaps, so I decided it would be fun to switch to a Winter theme... Let's get started on the
Winter Pin Keep Swap!
Here's the rules...yes...noone really like rules, but please read them carefully so that you understand how the swap works, and so that everyone ends the swap Happy!
Sign-ups last from now until Sept 30th.
Pinkeeps are due to be mailed no later than Oct 31st. I will have your swap partner to you by Oct 2nd.
*Your Pin Keep MUST be mounted on something at least 5" high....like a
candlestick, funnel, rusty spring, band box, etc. You may also mount it on another pincushion to reach the correct height, but it must reach the height of at least 5". No small, flat pin keeps
included in the swap this time. See pictures below.
*The Pin Keep MUST be handmade by you.
*Only followers of my blog and regular contributors will be allowed in
this swap. If you aren't sure if you qualify, just jot me a comment and
I'll get back to you. I usually let new swappers in my swaps, and pair
them with myself, but this swap is for my faithful followers only. I
will hold more in the future.
*You MUST have a blog of your own, so that you can post about your swap
when you receive it. The gals all like to see what people make/receive -
that's part of the fun!
*This swap is open to the USA and I will open this swap to my Canadian
friends as well - please let me know if you are willing to swap with a
lovely lady from up north.
*You MUST contact your partner once you receive her name and info to
touch base. It's also nice to let them know when you have sent your
swap package and received one too.
*You MUST make a THANK YOU post on your blog. Noone likes their time
and effort to be ignored, so don't forget to thank your partner
properly.
*You can include more goodies in your swap package, but you are only obligated to make a pin keep as described above.
If for some reason you cannot meet the deadline, please let your partner
know and email me as well, so we can make other arrangements. Don't
let your partner down.

PLEASE MAKE SURE TO SEND ME YOUR INFORMATION! Things are so crazy
around here, and I don't always have time to chase after people for
their information. I say this every time, but inevitably, someone
forgets....thanks for your understanding. :-)
Here's a few examples to get those creative juices flowing!

Try to think outside of the box Ladies! Perhaps use another pattern, mount it on something and make it a pinkeep....maybe use a make-do pattern for inspiration....I already have a good idea in my head what my partner will be getting!
Let's start the sign-ups now.
Please comment below
then send me an email with the information above.
I am hoping with the extended sign-up time, we'll get a record turn out this time.
Yay! Sign me up. 'Will email you my info in a sec.
