Sorry for the delay in posting the pictures from my
2014 Gardening Angel Challenge.
It's a busy time of year and I have been waiting for submissions. Here is what I have received so far, and the girls did a fantastic job! I know there are at least a couple more gals working on their dolls still, and if they send me photos, I will be more than happy to post about them!
This sweet little angel was created by Danice of Homespun Hannah. Isn't she lovely! She even has a bonnet and carries a wooden cross. The colors say Spring garden to me! |
Here is Cynthia's version of the Spring Gardening Angel. I love the apron! She's adorable. |
Diane of Lavender Dreams created this wonderful seaside doll. The colors she used reflect the summertime in sunny Florida, where Diane lives. She is beautiful! |
These sweet gardening twins were created by Di of QuiltingIsBlissful. Love the flower pots...they are a fine pair! Great job Di! I believe one of these dolls is for sale, so head on over to Di's blog if you are interested. |
Anne of Annies Handmade Decor created two gardening angels! They are very different from each other, but Anne did a great job on them both! |
and...lastly....
Here is my gardening angel!
I opted to use grapevine for her wings, and added a rusty watering can and prim flower. Her hair is sheep's wool tied with stained cheesecloth and I gave her bloomers as well. She is for sale, and will be listed in my Etsy shop soon, but if you are interested in purchasing her, just jot me a note.
THANK YOU to all who joined in the challenge! It was lots of fun!
Have a blessed weekend everyone!
WOW, what amazing talent you girls are blessed with, each angel has her own personality and sweetness.
ReplyDeleteIf I had to pick one - ALL OF THEM (giggle).
Happy Weekend
How fun and adorable! You always keep the creative juices flowing :)
ReplyDeleteThey are all so wonderful and I like how each one has it's own personality and theme that reflects their likes and where they live.

They are ALL beautiful and isn't it fun to see how different each one is even though we used the same pattern! We each put our little personality in them. I had another idea for one so I may make another one, too! Yours is wonderful Wendy! Thanks so much for the FUN! Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteLove seeing all of the pictures of you talented ladies! Too cute!
ReplyDeleteBe blessed,

'Been looking so forward to seeing all the darling Garden Angels. Thank you so much for this fun Challenge. Your angel is so unique, with the grapevine wings. I wanted a little rusty watering can with my angel, but couldn't find any, rusty or not, except by ordering and having to pay more for postage than the can would cost. Where do you get yours? Prim Summer blessings :)
ReplyDeleteI just love them all. Isnt amazing how many different versions you can get from one pattern. Love this!! Thanks Wendy for supplying such a wonderful pattern.
ReplyDeleteWhat great creations, love how each is so unique despite being made from the same pattern. Wonderful work everyone!
ReplyDeleteAll so different and unique ~ great job everyone!!!
