First of all, I want to thank everyone who took the time to comment or email me about my husband's diagnosis. Your responses have been overwhelming, and although at this time I cannot respond to each and every one of you, please know that our thoughts and prayers mean so very much to us. Chris has his surgery tomorrow morning, and I will let you know how things go. In the meantime, please continue to pray for his healing.
God bless you all!

Well, we've done a few crafts, so how about some tasty treats to make for your family, friends and neighbors. These lovely cookies are just the right color and mint is just the right flavor for this time of year...and these are SO easy too!
Mint Chip Cookies
1 package Betty Crocker sugar cookie mix (1 pound, 1.5 ounces)
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/4 to 1/2 tsp mint extract
6 to 8 drops green food coloring
1 egg
1 cup creme de menthe or mint baking chips
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chunks or chips.
Directions
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/4 to 1/2 tsp mint extract
6 to 8 drops green food coloring
1 egg
1 cup creme de menthe or mint baking chips
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chunks or chips.
Directions
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
In large bowl stir cookie mix, butter,
extract, food colouring and egg until soft dough forms. Stir in baking chips and chocolate chunks. Using small cookie scoop
or teaspoon, drop dough two inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until set. Cool 3 minutes and remove from wire
rack. Serve warm or cool completely. Serves 36.
