Day 5 - Rustic Snowflake Ornament, news and some much needed comic relief.

Good morning everyone.
I apologize for not posting on my
12 Days of Christmas Celebration
 sooner this morning.

As I hinted at yesterday, our world has been turned upside down with the news that my sweet hubby has cancer.  He is scheduled for surgery on Monday, and is having additional scans as I type this.
Because of this sudden turn of events, I will most likely not be creating any more tutorials myself.
I will still be sharing links to some wonderful creations and recipes by other artists, but I think for the remainder of this year's celebration, I need to concentrate on taking care of my husband and family.  I would like to ask for your continued prayers for my husband.

I hope that you will still come to visit and comment on my posts, even if they are not created by my hand.  I am very disappointed to not follow through with this annual event, because it brings with it the opportunity to bring some Joy, Fun and Creativeness to all of you.

Today's tutorial is for a lovely

Here are the supplies you will need

I just had to share this picture of my grand-daughter, Allie.  Last night her Mom set her down in the kitchen while she was fixing dinner.  When her back was turned, Allie somehow managed to reach onto my shelf of supplies on the island, and pull out the instant coffee I use for staining....well...as you can see...the results were a mess and quite funny.  I just knew I had to share it with you all.  She seems to be saying......"Mess, what Mess?  I don't see anything!"
It's all over her clothes and the floor and gave us a much needed chuckle during this trying time.

I have finished these two final Santas for the season as well.  Haven't listed them yet, so if you are interested in purchasing them, just jot me a note, for more pictures and information.

Have a wonderful day everyone.

  13. Oh, my Dear.....I am so sorry to hear about your husband. You know.... my own husband had colon cancer about ten years ago now. He had surgery and was fine after that. I was scared and prayed and prayed . My prayers were answered. I will be praying for your husband , you and your family until we hear he is home and fine. Maybe this was TMI but seems like when you go through something like my hubby did ...you want everyone to know that prayers are answered.

Your little granddaughter is the sweetest of the sweets. So cute.

    God bless....
