Good morning all - Hope your Easter weekend was lovely. We had another fun filled weekend. For starters, I finally got my chicks! I'm so excited and it is such fun to watch them! They are too cute. We'll be putting the finishing touches on the garden shed turned chicken coop soon, and once it gets warmer we'll be moving them out there. Right now they are too small and it is just too cold!
In addition to having the family all here for Easter Sunday, on Saturday we had a surprise 50th birthday party for my brother. We got him good - he didn't suspect a thing-and he had a great time.
My brother, Jon & his daughter, Kristen, who's looking a little sheepish after pulling off a surprise party for him. |
Maria, Drew, Scott, Steph & my niece Holly w/ her hubby Josh |
Nephew Jake had a mishap with some cake frosting! |
Off to clean to chicks and do some housework. Have a lovely week everyone!
Aw, such cute chicks! Have fun with them.
ReplyDeleteYes, I see the sheepish grin on Kristen's face, that is too funny. I love surprise parties, they are so much more fun. Looks like a great time was had by all, especially Jake. =]
