Update on surgery, a few things to share, and a giveaway to tell you about!

I'm happy to report that Maria's surgery went well and she is back at home re-cooping!  She looked very good this afternoon when I took her and Drew dinner and coffee cake.  She said she has little pain and is happy this whole ordeal is over.  Thank you all so much for your kind words and prayers.  So many of you wrote offering prayers and well wishes, and it was very touching.....thank you for the bottom of my heart.  You gals are the best!

In other news, I'll share a couple of pics with you of the few things I managed to finish this week.  I tried my hand at dyeing some wool for my leprechaun beards...that was a lot of fun and I'll share the quick and easy method I used to do it in another post, coming soon.
I made three of these goofy prim rabbits

I have lots more to finish up and a few new patterns I'm anxious to try.  Tomorrow we are having some new windows put in, so I probably won't get to work in my studio too much - boo hoo.

I also wanted to tell you about a giveaway going on over at Ginger Creme Hollow.  It's Becky's One Year Blogaversary, and she's giving away an adorable doll..so head on over to find out how to enter.

To finish off this post, I thought I would share a couple more pictures...two of our sweet Smidgen blog kitten, enjoying more blog things...PS...I found one of the leprechaun heads on the floor this morning - hehe...she's such goof.
This is the monkey ornie I made for Mr. Whimzie - I forgot to show it to you before!

Have a good evening all and thank you again for all your thoughts and prayers for Maria!

Blessings!

  10. Hi, Wendy - thank the Lord Maria is fine and safe at home.
The leprechauns are adorable. You did a good job on the beard wool. And you're lucky you found one of them, when one of my cats gets something you can NEVER find it again. I'm serious, I've even moved and never saw one of his catnip pillows in the empty house! I love your Hitchcock Deacon's bench. It's a beauty. The rabbits you made are cute!
    Hugs,
    Susan
