Heard some noise on the porch this morning...and our doggie, Jack was going crazy barking and running around, so I went to check out what the noise was...and look who I found!
Mr. Goat came to tea! He was joined by his faithful traveling companion, a golden retriever who has visited us before.
Needless to say, I was pretty stunned at first and just laughed to myself, then I ran to get my camera before they left. Mr. Goat chewed on the garland around the front door, but was otherwise quite friendly and let me pet him.
They both eventually had enough of my photo shoot and meandered away down the road.
I'm beginning to learn a lot about life in the country!
Hope you all had a nice day!
OMG..Wendy, that is too funny! Glad you thought to take pics. I have had goats off and on my whole life and they are so fun, but full of mischief... Hugs, Traci

Looks like Mr. Goat is quite the model. He seems to be posing! We end up with deer and fox at Hiney Bit O Acres and cranes, geese and turtles at The Stone House. No goats though.
