Grammy's Brag Day and prayer request

Pooping in to say
HAPPY SPRING!

It was a very cold start to Spring here, as the thermometer said 18 degrees on Sunday morning!  But the temps did improve a bit as the day wore on.
I took these lovely pictures of the sunset last night.  The sky looked like it was on fire!

I also wanted to share a couple of Grammy's Brag Day pictures.

I got to watch the boys last Tuesday and enjoyed them so much.  Here is a picture of Peter and Joey eating lunch.

Joey was all smiles, but Petie wouldn't look at the camera.

This one is of Allie right after we sang Happy Birthday to her.
She had a cow-girl themed party.
Unfortunately...all the kiddos came down with bad colds in the past week, and little Joey seems fairly bad today. They are taking him to the doctor to rule out any lung issues.  Allie seems on the mend, and hopefully Petie and Joey will be soon...and all ready for Easter fun.

Our newest grand-daughter is due to arrive in Mid-May, and we are anxious to see her.

On Saturday my Mom fell and hit her head.  She went to the hospital via ambulance, and received 3 large staples.  Her back was also injured in the fall.  She is going through tests and evaluations to address her many needs, and will be transferred to a rehab center for the time being.  She seemed in good spirits when I spoke to her this morning, but I would ask your prayers for her, if I may.

I'm hoping to catch up on a few things today, as well as work on a swap.  I also have plans to take some more pictures of our renovation project...it is moving along and I haven't posted an update in a while.  If you missed my other posts about our project, scroll down a bit in my blog and you will find them.  It's been a long haul, but the light is finally at the end of the tunnel!

Have a blessed Holy Week everyone.
The week before Easter is always a good time for added prayers and devotions, as we approach the Resurrection of our Lord.

“Jesus said … ‘I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die’”
(John 11:25–26)
