Day 3 of the 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop

Hello my Prim Friends!

Welcome to Day 3 of our 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop!

I finally managed to find the time to pull out the Christmas decorations and start decorating.  So many of you have already done so...I'm a little behind...but by the end of the week this 1830 home should be all decked out in it's best for the festive season!

Tis the season for Santas, Snowman, Christmas Trees...and elves!  Did you see the cute Elf Make-do that Vicky shared with us yesterday?  If not, scroll down to my Day 2 post, and you'll find all the links you will need.

Yesterday we visited Vicky in Florida, and today, we move back north, just a bit...to the town of Weaverville, North Carolina, where we meet up with Joyce of the The Bears Blog - Bears Just b-claws Blog

Joyce lives in this small, quaint town, with a wonderful Main Street, nestled in the western mountains of North Carolina.  Weaverville is just a short drive to Asheville, where the famed Biltmore Estate is located.  Biltmore is on my all time bucket list to visit...one of these days I'm going to make it there.  Lucky Joyce is a yearly pass holder, so they are frequent visitors to the majestic place, and they take a candlelight tour of the estate at this time of year.  I am betting it is just beautiful all decked out for Christmas!

Joyce is a multi-talented lady.  She has created adorable bears for many years, likes to quilt, and dabbles in primitives and other creations as well.  One of the results of her bear-making is her side-kick Prudence the bear, who's always into something, as evidenced by the posts on Joyce's blog.

Besides touring Biltmore Estate at Christmastime, Joyce and her hubby love to have a very special seafood dinner on Christmas eve, and her 'must-have' holiday treat is homemade pumpkin pie.

I'm anxious to see what Joyce has prepared for us today, so let's click on over to her blog right now. You can also find Joyce on Facebook.

I'll see you back here tomorrow for Day 4 of the Blog Hop, when I will introduce you to another very talented lady...you will love her work!
