Simple Blesssings

Good morning Prim Pals

Not much news to report today, but I did want to  share a few tidbits and pictures with you.

Hubby is at an interview right now, and our DIL had one yesterday, and two more set for Monday....so fingers crossed and prayers sent that they both get offered a job.  My poor dear looked a little depressed this morning before his interview...it's hard to understand sometimes why things happen, but hopefully a new job will be less stressful and no international travel.

I finished up several orders this week, and made a blackberry pie, coffee ice cream, and just finished another batch of ice cream...this time blackberry swirl with mini chocolate chips.  Can't wait to try it.....oh...okay....I will admit to tasting it before I packed it up in the freezer....it's a quality control thing.  LOL

We've had some very heavy rain and flooding in our area since last night.  Pretty severe stuff, but we've been spared, as the worst has been to our south about 1/2 hour or so.  Here's a LINK to the video Drew took last night while out storm chasing.  His is the second video down, showing the driving wind and rain in a nearby corn field.

It's been a while since I shared any picture of the grandbabies, and we managed to get them both to sit still (well...somewhat anyway) on Sunday.

and here's a sunset from our nightly walk

I created these sweet foxes as part of an anniversary gift for Drew & Maria....the little fox even has a cute little wool curl, just like Peter's.
and..lastly....a new creation that will be listed in my Etsy shop soon, if she doesn't sell here or on my FB selling sites.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

  6. Hi, Wendy,
What precious pictures of your little grand babies...what a blessing. The sunset is beautiful too. We had a flood watch yesterday, but ended up getting just a nice rain. Where are you that you had floods?

  8. Hello Wendy! It's been a long while since I was able to tap into blog land and catch up. Congratulations on your Anniversery and Maria's as well! Also, I hope your hubby had a great interview. My husband is in one now so we have our fingers crossed. I've missed a lot of work due to being sick and may need surgery to remove the silly gland that is causing it so if he picks up work it will be a huge relief. I love all of your new creations, specially the foxes! Such an adorable trio. And look at the little babes! You are blessed. Take care! I'll check back sooner this next time. ~Christina (Pendleton Primitives)
