Hello & Happy Monday

Good morning dear friends!  I hope you all had a great weekend.  Drew arrived safely home on Friday afternoon from his trip to Minnesota.  Our other son, Scott came over that evening from his home an hour away so we had the entire weekend to spend with them both.  Saturday morning we feasted on a homemade blueberry coffee cake (recipe compliments of Sue over at Oodlekadoodle Primitives)
If you don't follow Sue's blog, you really should rush over there to join...she is always posting such great recipes and lots of other wonderful things...tutorials, giveaways, etc.

Anyway...after we finished our breakfast, we decided to go to a couple of antique places.  It was a lovely Spring day out and it seems to just call for a little drive around the countryside.  I bought a nice yellow-ware bowl at one place and a little old child's scooter at another place.  The scooter is in desperate need of a little repair and TLC, but for $5 I figured I was game for that.  Hubby and I sat looking at it last night wondering what little children used it so many years ago.....

The rest of the day we spent playing a game of Super Scrabble, making homemade pizza and sitting in the hot tub.

Sunday after church and splurging a bit on breakfast out...we took a long hike in the woods near our house.  It was so nice out...a bit warm and the sun was shining...no wind....a lovely day.

Looking up to heaven!

Time to get moving now girls.    I will be posting another Basil picture this afternoon, so stay tuned for that, and remember, if you didn't get your Basil done in time, feel free to send me pictures when your creation is complete.  Have a wonderful day!
