I'm a little late posting these pictures, but here are some of the cross country skiing our son, Drew, and I did Friday afternoon. Instead of venturing into the woods around our house, we opted to check out a local nature center and we loved the trails - it was fun to explore some place new. We went in the late afternoon, and were greatly rewarded with beautiful sunset shots!
Today will be spent packing up Drew's things, as he returns to college for his last semester. It is always sad when he goes back to college - the house seems so quiet...as it returns back to hubby and me, the dog and cats. His vacation went too quickly...sigh.
The last picture I posted was of our drive to the nature center on Friday afternoon....it had snowed about 6" the night before and was cold and blustery, and I loved the desolate-ness of the road, so we took a picture. Have a nice Sunday - Bless you all.
Love your sunset pictures. Thanks for sharing.

Love the pics! Very pretty scenery for sure. I know what that empty quiet feeling is like....my son is in university as well and I hate when he leaves to go back!

ReplyDeleteYour snow pictures are gorgeous! I especially love the one of the sun glistening on the snow making it sparkle, so pretty. Sounds like you all had a fun time. I still have three kids at home so I don't know anything about a quiet home... yet.
