Good morning dear friends!
I don't post much, but think of our blogging days with great fondness. Our year has been good, and we are, naturally, busy keeping up with the lawn and garden this time of year.
On July 14th, we welcomed another grandchild! Henry Carlo Micah was 8 lbs 2 oz. Mom and babe are doing just fine, and he joins his 4 brothers and Dad...yup 5 boys! He is such cutie, as I know all grandparents feel about their grandchildren. His delivery took a lot longer than his brother Nick (6) who came so fast, there was no chance to get to the hospital.
Speaking of Nick, he did a great job at the county fair, where he showed his 'adopted' cow. He spent a lot of time working with the cow and taking care of it, so he could show it. He had a great time, and hopes some day to have a cow of his own. He was a little sad to be at the end of this adventure, but wants to do it again next year.

Wow 8. I only have 2. Each are adorable. Glad your Summer is going good for you. Janice
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Wendy! And to the new-again parents! Henry is beautiful! But eek...5 boys! I had always thought I would have a house full of boys...6 at least. And I had names picked out - all with a biblical tie and all beginning with J. Alas, I ended up with only one. It may have been a while to see a post from you, but looks like you and your family are continuing to thrive. (Love that little quilt you are working on for Henry!) I welcomed my second granddaughter a week ago yesterday!
