Welcome back to another day of our
12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop!
We're thrilled that you have followed along so far, and things will just keep getting better, as we still have a collection of very talented ladies lined up for the rest of the Blog Hop.
Yesterday we visited with Joyce of The Bear's Blog in lovely North Carolina. Joyce shared an adorable little hat tutorial and oh my, I have got to try her recipe for Cranberry Nut Bread. I love cranberries and orange, so it's sure to be a winner! If you missed Joyce's post, just scroll down to my post of yesterday, and you will find the link to her blog.
From North Carolina, we continue our trek northward to beautiful Rhode Island. Our next blogger, Debbie of Woolen Sails lives there, near the town of Wickford, which is an old harbor town, filled with history, and home to the oldest outdoor art show in New England. Can you just image the quaint village, with the stores along the main streets decorated for Christmas, and the sidewalks lined with Christmas trees and lights. Oh, it must be so lovely! Debbie tells me that Santa arrives by boat, led by dozens of kayakers! I'd certainly love to see that.
Debbie says that they never get snow there before Christmas, so ever since their children were young, she has been making paper snowflakes, which she places on all the windows, so they have a winter wonderland. Debbie's favorite holiday treat is not a food, but she so enjoys listening to holiday music all month...that's her treat...as she loves Christmas music.
Debbie is such a talented lady...she's very skilled at so many things! Just take a look at her blog, and you will see samples of her work. She's a pattern maker, quilter, stitcher, needle-felter, punch needle artist and does beautiful wool applique as well! I love her work, and I know you will too. You can find Debbie's patterns by following this link to her shop.
I'm super excited to see what she has in store for us, so without further delay, let's jingle all the way to her blog, Woolen Sails!
I'll see you tomorrow for Day 5!
