Good morning Prim Friends!
This sweet clematis is at it again! Such large blooms and so many, it brings a smile to my face each time I go out to the patio.
No fancy post this morning...just the ramblings of a country wife....
The past week has been a bit crazy here at Ravenwood. I enjoyed a visit with my sister from Vermont for a little bit on Monday, as she came up for the weekend to see my parents. My Mom had back surgery, DIL Stephanie spent an unexpected overnight in the hospital the other day, when she felt dizzy and nearly fainted while teaching her 3rd grade class. There was a bit of scrambling to figure out what to do with Allie, who ended up spending the night and most of yesterday with us. She was as good as gold, but so happy to see Mommy & Daddy in the afternoon. All tests came out negative, and the doctor told her to start taking better care of herself and drink more liquids!
All the while, I've been fighting a nasty cold...sore throat for two days and then terrible sinus and cough.
But God is good and things are looking brighter today.
We have a wedding to attend tomorrow, so it will be nice to relax a bit. We've been pushing to finish to new chicken coop and run, as we've added 9 new chicks to the ole homestead now. The new girls are using the new coop with a little make-shift run, until the new secure run is complete.....I'll share pictures next week.
I've been busy creating as well...sold this wonderful bear last evening on FB for a special Circus themed auction.
I had seriously thought about not completing him, since it was such a hectic week, but I managed to get him done in time. I had so many wonderful comments about him...maybe my next calling is making bears...something I have wanted to do for some time now, but never seem to find the time.
My cawfee is gone now ladies, so it's time to shower and get busy!
Have a blessed weekend!

Hi Miss Wendy,
ReplyDeleteYou tickle my mohair, I love visiting with you. Make bears? Really? Oh boy, Mom says I can buy one, so get busy. Giggle.
Now look, Missy, you get over that nasty cold and feel better, don't make me have to come up there.......
