Day 5 - Twelve Days of Christmas Celebration & Giveaway

Good morning friends.
Sorry I'm a bit late posting today....I have been the victim of the latest round of colds/flu going around.  I felt it coming on all weekend and yesterday afternoon it hit with a vengeance.  So, needless to say, I wasn't able to work on my tutorial for Bottle Brush trees, for which Leigh Ann over at Your Home Based Mom was providing the inspiration.  I figured it was better to provide you with a link to her wonderful tutorial rather than having no post at all today.

I do apologize, and hopefully will be back tomorrow with my own tutorials or recipes!  Have a blessed day!

Today's giveaway question is:

"Do you put up more than one large Christmas tree in your home?"

  2. I hope you feel better soon, I have had it for a week and it is a miserable one. I cannot put up one, my cats pull things down and I have a new puppy, so using table top trees for now. I do like the idea of having more than one since I collect cats, I do one with all cat ornaments and when we finish the basement, I would love to do a tree down there too.

Please get some rest - the flu can be very dangerous, even when we think we're over it. REST.

  9. Hope you feel better soon. We put up one tree each year. I would like to put up more than one and have some theme trees but never have the room for it.

  11. Sorry you are feeling under the weather Wendy, virtual chicken soup headed your way! Thanks for the link to the tutorial. We put up one big tree but I have so many ornaments now that I am considering doing 3 or 4 smaller themed trees in the future so I can display them all. Just have to go and buy more tree stands first! Thanks for your continuing generosity and hope you feel lots better soon.

  13. Hi Wendy,
At last count we have about 36 trees, some large, some small, some medium--too many for my teens and myself! My husband loves Christmas, apparently! My daughter calls him "Over the top Martha Stewart"!
    Hope you feel better!

  17. So sorry you feel bad. A flu bug has been going around here also. Get well soon. We actually do have more than one tree- the large one in the living room and a smaller table-top one in the dining room. On my side of the duplex, I have a small one on a shelf above my TV. So, we have many trees :)

  24. My only big tree is my narrow all year round tree. I have smaller trees on tops of chairs and such. You know, so Charlie can't get himself an ornament. :)
