Good morning Prim Peeps!
I hope you had an enjoyable weekend. Ours was very busy, which is why I am a little late in posting a big THANK YOU for my pin keeps.
Friday we attended our local school musical, Beauty & the Beast..and once again it was a great show. Saturday, our son, Scott & I took off for a hike in the state forest nearby. We figured we tramped through the snow for 4 miles...and I was still tired yesterday...dang...I hate getting old! But, it was a fun time and it was wonderful to be outside for an extended period of time. Following our hike, we went to Mass, then a church dinner immediately following, where our priest spoke about his life's journey. Sunday, everyone was here for the day, and we made 5 homemade pizzas and a dessert pizza, and feasted (way too much)...the guys did taxes and Maria & I worked on needle-work projects.

Okay..enough babbling...you want to see my Pin Keeps!
First up is my package from Kendra at The Stone House Primitives.
Now, Kendra and I both started raising fowl at about the same time...she got ducks and, of course, I got chickens. Kendra and I have swapped a few times before, and she knows me well, so she created a swap package with chickens in mind...and I couldn't be more thrilled.

First up is this sweet woolie chicken pin keep.
Isn't it adorable!
Kendra continued the fun by wrapping up this wonderful framed chicken redwork...it is already hanging in my kitchen.
She completed the package with a chickie note pad, sweet vintage-look chick card and a nest with a blue painted spoon egg...she's so creative!
Thank you so much Kendra - your creativity touched my little chickie heart!
Kendra posted about my swap to her, so hop on over to her page to see what I sent her.

Next up is my Pin Keep swap from Heather at The Country School Marm. Sweet Heather sent me not one, but two wonderful Pin Keeps.
First was this cute bunny pin keep...I love the material she used! My sewing room is painted in a Cavern Moss color, so it blends perfectly with the color!
Heather put so many details in the bunny, be sure to click on the picture to enlarge it.
As if that wasn't enough...look at the adorable little strawberry pin keep she included! Too cute!
She spoiled me even more with a beautiful woolie pin keep, a lovely spring bird note pad....
a potted plant wrapped in burlap...love it...
a lovely smelling candle wrapped up in cheesecloth...and oh my...some decadent chocolates...of which I confess to promptly eating one of them...the salted caramel was calling my name....yummmm.....
Thank you so much Heather for your wonderful swap package - love everything!
Check back on Heather's blog to see what I sent her...she's a school teacher and it is a very busy time of year, so give her a few days to post...I'd love for you to see what I sent her...UPDATE - you can read Heather's hilarious and touching post HERE.
I always enjoy these pin keep swaps. I don't know of anyone else that does pin keep swaps, so it makes it extra special to see the talent and creativity of each participant.
Thank you to all who joined in this Spring swap - if there is enough interest, we'll do another one in the Fall.
Have a blessed day everyone!
