Vintage Halloween - Part 3

I've been finding so many great vintage Halloween photos, that today I'm going to share several of them.  I personally think these costumes are much more creative, interesting and fun than today's rubber masks and realistic blood and gore.

This one made me laugh!

The look on the little boy's face is priceless!

I'm pretty sure one of my friends had a mask like this one.

She doesn't look too happy - maybe she realized that white isn't really a witchy color.

A cackle  of cacklers

These kids are just plain creepy if you ask me.

I'm betting their Moms thought these costumes were perfect - these kids looks like lil devils.

Homemade cat and pumpkin heads - I think they could have worked on the bottom half of the costumes a bit more...don't you?

One year my sister made a huge paper mache horse head for her costume - and this picture reminded me of that!

and finally...this one is for Trace - LOL

Enjoy your day friends!

  4. Hi Wendy,

Prudence began reading your post, almost fell off the "puter" chair and ran - I mean RAN upstairs, into her room, and jumped into her bed taking her blankie and covering her head. She is still there... thank you! (o:

  7. Wonderful photographs Wendy, love them all! I seem to remember dressing up as a hobo most Halloweens, think it was easy for my Mom to dress me up in some of my Dad's old work shirts and draw a moustache on me with her eyebrow pencil LOL!
