Long overdue THANK YOUs - Pin Keep Swap

I'm way overdue to send out thank yous to my two Fall Pin Keep Swap partners, so without further ado....

Thank you to Anna of the Woolie Mammoth for the lovely woolie wonderful pin keep she sent me.  She also included some yummy See's candy pops (she sent 4 but Hubby and I chomped down two before I could snap a picture), a wonderful little project for me to do (in the bag), and a great tote bag, which I forgot to include in the photo, as I was already using it.

Anna does lovely needlework and this pin keep smells great too!
Thank you so much Anna!

Next was my pin keep from Heather, that busy Country Schoolmarm.   Here's a picture of all the pretties she sent me!

A kitchen towel with a yummy Pumpkin Spice Muffin recipe on it, apple note pad, yummy hot chocolates for those cool Fall days...and....of course....

...my pin keep - Isn't she adorable!
Heather added such wonderful detail to the pin keep...her apron says Harvest Home 1813, and I love the face and adorable pumpkin she is holding.  She sits atop a wonderful old wooden spool...Love her.

Thank you so much Heather!

I also wanted to spend a few moments of time to remember those killed and injured on September 11, 2001....may we never forget....

Have a blessed day.

  4. You are too sweet! I enjoyed making it for you! Today was a hard day and prayers were said for the families and friends affected by that tragic day. Seeing the flags fly at half mast. Retelling the story of what that day was like to my students. It was the first week of the first year I taught at my current school. So many memories...

    Thank you for the reminder!
    Love,
    Heather
