It's been 18
days since I posted....have you missed me at all?
Our vacation to the Outer Banks of North Carolina was simply perfect! The weather was hot, there was a nice breeze off the ocean, and we only had rain one afternoon...we were blessed with fun, laughter, and made many memories on our trip. We played in the surf, fished off the nearby pier, enjoyed Summer Beer on the deck (recipe to follow later this week), went crabbing a few times, saw some local sights and took the ferry to Ocracoke Island for more sight seeing. We HATED to leave our little paradise.
We stopped to tour Antietam Battlefield on the way home, but have vowed to return to the area to explore the town, sights and antique shops too...there simply wasn't enough time to do everything.

Looks like you had an amazing time!! Brought back memories of our family vacations to the shore in Ocean City and Chincoteaque Island! I probably spelled that wrong!! Could almost smell the salt air and taste the crabs and corn!
