Tuesday Tense Moment and some finishes

Good day Prim Friends!
I'm a little late in posting today - been very busy.

I ventured out early this morning to attend Mass at church....thanks to a snow/ice/sleet storm overnight, the roads were pretty slick....I fish tailed a little on the curving hill leading to the main road...and boy was I scared!  I was only going 20 and in low gear, but the roads were so slippery.   Thankfully,  after saying a quick and desperate prayer, I gained control again with no harm done.

After Mass I went to pick up a few more chicks for my collection - lol.  There are so many interesting kinds..it's almost addicting!  I'll post pictures of the sweeties tomorrow.  I just got them all set up and have some other things to do before the day completely slips away.

Last week I managed to knock 3 things off of my to-do list, and getting the rolling pin rack I won from Carol at Firecracker Kid completed and hung was one of my finishes!  I decorated the rack with my vintage rolling pins and some goodies I have received from blogging friends throughout the last two years.
Thank you again Carol - Love my beautiful rack!
I recently completed this sweet bunny.  She's from a pattern by Raven's Haven.  Love how she turned out.
I have to get busy on my NYS sales tax return - it's due tomorrow!  So I'm off to do paperwork and throw together a pot of chili for dinner.  It seems there is never enough time in the day.  I still have a few finishes to do on my swap package for Amy's latest swap too.
Til tomorrow friends

May the Lord watch over you.

  5. So sweet! I love the shelf! I also love that you have your sweet treasures from blogging friends! Awwww...

I am new to selling, so I am not sure how to gather my taxes for my tax man. I need to find a way to make this easier. The ebay part is a bear! I hope the chili and taxes go well!

    Hugs to you, Wendy!
