LOOKIE WHAT I WON and sharing some pictures of the storm

For the past year, I have coveted, yes...bad me...I have really coveted the wonderful creations that Carol of Firecracker Kid creates.  Each time she has a giveaway, I enter and patiently wait to see that I haven't won again...but my luck has changed!
Last week Carol picked my name in her latest giveaway, and I got the package today.
She sent me a wonderful rolling pin shelf and I can't wait to paint, stain and varnish it- in Prim Black of course!  Right now it is just laying on my dining room table, but I hope to get started on it soon.  I'll be sure to show you it once it is finished.

Thank you SO much Carol!  I just love it!  I'll tell you gals, this is a quality made piece and I'm just so thrilled to own it!  If you haven't been to Carol's blog, follow the link above...and while you are there, check out her Etsy shop too!

"Doing the Happy Dance"

I snapped a couple of pictures this afternoon before the real heavy snow started.   It was so pretty.
This weather is for the birds!

Jack, on the other hand, LOVES the snow
