Sunny Saturday!

Just stopping by to say hi and share a couple of pics....will be posting more but this weekend is busy (again) with company and parties.  I've been having such fun with my nephew Jake, and we are very blessed that he is able to come spend time here.

Jake proudly displays the homemade biscuits he made on Monday, to go with my homemade shrimp bisque.  Yummy

Flowers Jake picked me on his bike ride with the neighbors

New doll I finished this week....have yet to list her in my Etsy shop, so if you are interested just email me.

Off to feed the chickens and water plants before heading out to our annual Fireworks party.  We used to host it at our old home, since the fireworks we set off in the school fields behind our home, but now our son is continuing the tradition!  Should be fun.  Going to be a hot one today, so the pool will be a welcome relief.

Enjoy your day

Blessings

  2. Hi Wendy! Thought of you the other day when I noticed my climbing hydrangea has its first wee flower buds! (green as can be and hardly hydrangeai-ish lol) Still, I'm excited :-)

Lovely new doll, yummy biscuits a la Jake ~ and isn't it grand when a fellow (of any age) brings you posies?

Enjoy the weekend and happy 4th of July if I don't chat with you again before then....

    Hugs x many!

  3. Enjoy your time with Jake. It goes by so fast. Shrimp bisque? Sounds awesome! How nice to have help in the kitchen! And so sweet to bring you flowers--I love daisies.
I understand you recently purchased one of my stitchings from Angie. Thank you very much. I haven't sold many myself. Angie does much better than I do. I am not as confident as she is. :+)
