Good Monday Morning!

Hello dear friends - What a lovely day we had yesterday.  First church and a few errands, then Mr. Whimzie and I worked outside all day.  I have many overgrown gardens to deal with at our new place...it would be easy to become overwhelmed...but I'm taking a little bit at a time.  The biggest perennial garden is around two sides of our big ole barn, and it is so overgrown...but I am happy to say that I got about 3/4 of it done yesterday.  The Mr. worked on the patio gardens and hauled away piles and piles of junk that I created.   We were also treated to a visit from our friend Mr. Bill-E Goat and his faithful companion.  I was so excited to see them trotting down the road, because up until now, no one else in the family has met them.
It is supposed to be a glorious week here, and for once, I am hoping that the orders hold off just a few days, so I can get more accomplished outside.  I'm a bit sore, but ready to enjoy the sun again, although I do have one order to work on before I head out.
I hope you all have a wonderful week ahead.

  3. Wow you are ahead of me, I was just looking at my flower beds saturday, lots of floweres coming up, and the weeds are going crazy. It is suppose to be a good sunny week here around 80, so planning to jump on my weeds. Don't you just love getting down in the dirt, pulling the weeds and seeing what is coming up? Nice way to shed some stress and do some garden planning. Have fun in your flower beds. Vicky

  4. Oh you lucky girl to be able to get out into your garden and get some dirt under your nails, it's hard work but so satisfying when you get it all cleaned out and ready for the spring blooms to pop up. Although we have had a robin sighting here, there is still snow on the ground and it is snowing again today so it will be a bit before I can get out digging. So glad Bill E. and his buddy showed up again, although I hope Bill E. doesn't munch on your garden when it gets growing! Have a great week Wendy!
