Big Green Dragonfly that came to visit our deck this past weekend. |
My nephew Jake (right) and his buddy snacking after playing outside. |
We picked 23 pounds of blueberries yesterday! |
Drew & Maria shuckin' corn for dinner-yummmm |
My hoosier cabinet is almost complete! I need a couple more hinges and drawer pulls, but I wanted to show you how it turned out so far! |
Maria's first attempt at blueberry jam - it's so tasty and she is so proud of it! |
Hope you enjoyed these glimpses of summer!
I love to watch dragonflies ~ cool pic!

You have saved my day! I woke up in a funk this morning, but you reminded me that I could go blueberry picking this morning.
ReplyDeleteMaria's jam looks like she got it right on the first try! And your hoosier is spectacular! Have a great day. :)
Looks like you are taking time for the simple pleasures. The jam looks yummy.Warm Blessings!~Amy
ReplyDeleteHi Wendy, Sure wished you lived closer, Mr. P had so many blueberries this year and we don't even eat them. He picked some and shared with the older ladies from church. But that Jam sure looks yummy. Love the hooiser cabinet. I have one I had in house for years, then went with a china cabinet and I have been thinking about moving it back in. I know you will love it and it looks wonderful. School will be starting soon so enjoy the remainder of your summer.

Love your Hoosier cabinet! The blueberries and corn look yummy. Great pics ...I have always been drawn to dragonflies. Marie did a wonderful job on her jam.It looks so pretty in the jars.Have a great day,Jen
ReplyDeleteGreat pics..we checked our berries the other day but they are at least another week from being ready. They do look bigger and fatter than last year so all the rain we had up till July and now all the heat must have done them good.
ReplyDeleteNice getting the snap of the dragonfly, they are camera shy when I'm around.
It all looks like a "Wonderful Summer" is happening at your place!!!!
ReplyDeleteBlessings~

Wonderful statements of summer, Wendy!! Love the sunflower...wish I had some! Your Hoosier is gorgeous.....lucky, lucky, you....Even if I found one, could afford one, I wouldn't have room for one (and that's even if I moved everything out!!) :o( Glad you're enjoying life's simple pleasures!
