I'll try to make this post as short as possible, but I'm not making any promises. Seems like there is a lot on my mind to post about!
First off, I want to thank Laura over at Rhodes Creations. I won her beautiful quilted ball ornament. Isn't it lovely!!?? I've been so lucky lately in the giveaways, I feel somewhat guilty posting yet another win, but I want to give credit to the wonderful artists who create such lovely things. Thank you Laura!
On Saturday, I received my prize item from the TDIPT giveaway. Val from the Wooden Acorn donated this adorable wool mat. It is so cute and the workmanship is beautiful. Thanks Val!
I've been very busy trying to finish up a few items I've had laying around. I've got my Prim Pigs almost done, just need to put some legs on them. In addition, I'm working on an Uncle Sam, and I finished by newest creation on Friday....I call her Lady Liberty. She is partially based on a pattern from Erika's Cupboard, but I changed it up quite a bit to create what I wanted. I just LOVE the way she turned out and I am going to have a hard time selling her...but she will probably head on over to my Etsy shop in the next few days.
Right now I am working on a couple of swaps that I am in and filling some orders for Easter Rabbits as well. I want so much to get these things done, because I have been itchin' to try making a prim bear. I've had the pattern and material sitting on my countertop for over a month now and I really want to create one of these cuties very soon.
Earlier today I posted a couple of news items that you may be interested in. One is a new Spring Celebration over at PAFA and the other is a contest for new bloggers over at Sunburnt Cow. You can find links to each of these on my right sidebar. Be sure to check them out!
Finally, I want to invite you to join my Pin Keep Swap - there is a link for that on the right sidebar as well.
It's time to get back to stuffing and fixing some dinner for the hubby. Hope you all have a wonderful week ahead. *Warm Blessings*

ReplyDeleteVery nice winnings! Love the Lady Liberty too. Hey, I remembered that you had talked about living near the Finger Lakes, well guess what? My husband and I are heading up there in less than 2 weeks for a mini vaca! Can't wait! If there is anything near or around Watkins Glen, let me know....looking for antique shops, or yummy places to eat at! Have a great day Wendy!
