Good evening my blogging buddies~
It's a balmy 15 degrees and very windy this evening. I'm about crafted out for the night, but I thought I would share a couple of pictures of what I have been working on and a lovely idea from a fellow blogger.
I had an order late Sunday night for 8 of my sheep ornies, so I have been busy making them for the last day. They have been mailed out and are making their way to sunny California.
Next I am trying my hand at making elves - Jennifer over at Stitchin' Thyme very generously shared her pattern from Moonchild's Primitives with me. I am making just three elves right now, since it is so close to Christmas, and I only have one show left on Friday. Sure hope I can make them as nice as Jen does! Thanks so much Jen for sharing with me.
Lastly, I wanted to share with you a recent post from Birgit over at The Primitive Country Bug. She has created a beautiful Memory Tree. It includes some lovely ornaments she created using pictures of deceased loved ones and ancestors. It's very moving to read her post. I would like to start doing this too, and thought many of you would enjoy starting your own tradition. Enjoy.
I'll be posting tomorrow's recipe of the day around 11:30 pm tonight....haven't decided yet what it will be...stay tuned!
Oh goodness, love those little faces!!!
