Hello to all my blogging buddies! Hope you had a fabulous weekend. Ours was very busy but also very fun! The kids were all home and on Friday we went to the homecoming football game...great game as we won against our rivals 28-6. Saturday we went to the corn maze nearby. We started doing this several years ago and the kids (even tho they are 25 and 21) still look forward to it every year. We have a ton of fun.

Saturday evening was a special Mass and celebration for our visiting priest, who was marking his 25th year of being a priest. He helped out at parish parish several years ago, but is from Nigeria, and will be returning to his country next week. Sunday my parents and nephew came for a visit and it was such a lovely day...topped off with stuffed porkchops and apple dumplings for dessert. As with all weekends, this one too came to an end, as my parents and our oldest son and his wife returned home and our youngest son drove back to college. Chris and I feel so blessed that our kids actually like to spend time with us - guess we did a good job of raising them!
Tomorrow I will be posting the giveaway item! I PROMISE! lol

Wendy,
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a great weekend. We haven't been to a corn maze in years....last time we went it was with a bunch of screaming cub scouts! That was really fun!

Hey Dee - My husband was a Den leader for 8 (long) years...so I know exactly what you are talking about! But I wouldn't mind having those times back again...they grow up too fast.
