This shelving is much more useful and decorative too!
The tall wicker shelf was given to us just last weekend - couldn't have been better timing!
My ugly pink bargain center counter top with my 'inspiration' fabric on it before the renovation. Now look at the 'new' faux granite counter top I created. Directions for such a project can be found at http://ezinearticles.com/?How-to-Paint-Laminate-Countertops---4-Easy-Steps&id=107890
I still have a couple of things to finish up. I have to paint the baseboard molding and make my curtains and finish the skirt on the counter top, but I am so pleased with how it all came about. I also have in mind a fold down extra work area that would be mounted under the window and just fold against the wall when not in use...something along the lines of a drop-leaf table. Thanks to my hubby for his help in mounting the cabinets and making the shelves for me. Couldn't have done it without him. Let me know what you think! Have a great weekend everyone!
Wow Wendy, your renovated sewing room looks gorgeous!! I love what you've done.

Looks great, want to come to my house and re-do mine! Just in case you don't check back to my blog, the prim pals forum Christmas ornie swap is open until the end of the month, you have to make 15 ornaments and get 15 back. You also have to be a member of the forum, that is so easy to do, they do alot of swaps. Hope you join in the fun.
