A Good Monday Morning to all...

Hello Blogger friends - Hope you all had a nice weekend.  Saturday was lovely here, but Sunday brought more cool and rainy weather for us....certainly a reminder that summer is over. This morning we had a large heron visiting our garden pond - most unwelcome but awesome bird.  Luckily we have a wood and wire frame covering it to keep him from eating my fish.

I haven't posted much in the last week because I undertook the task of renovating  my sewing room.  I've been moving tons of stuff out (what is all this junk???), moving the furniture away from the walls, stripping the wallpaper and adding new paint.  It's coming along nicely and I hope to paint the counter top (yucky pink bargain center find) today and move things back in.  I'm itching to do some more crafting!  I have been working on a couple stitcheries, which I'll be turning into Halloween pillows soon...stay tuned for them.  I will also post before and after pictures of my room, it's going to be a complete change, with more storage and better organization.
