Peter's Baptism

Saturday was a special day for our family, as our new grandson, Peter, was baptized.  It was also a busy day as well.  We had many out of town family/friends coming, so what was to be a simple cake and punch reception, suddenly turned into a full fledged dinner/dish-to-pass.   I whipped up about 30+ pieces of baked chicken, rice, fruit salad, french onion soup, and of course...the cake!

Here's just a few pictures of our day.

Peter's christening gown was knitted by my Mother-in-Law especially for the sweet little angel.  She's making another one for our granddaughter due in March.  :-)
Complete with booties - adorable!
God has blessed us all so much with this lovely little child!
Have a wonderful day everyone!
