A Pinterest Party, Grandbabies and Spring Challenge

Morning everyone!

Spring is still trying to make an appearance in central New York....it was a cool and rainy weekend.  The hubby and I did manage to do a little bit outside on Saturday before the wind and drizzle forced us inside. 

 Our daughter-in-law, Maria, planned a Pinterest Party for Saturday evening. She invited friends and neighbors and we had our choice of three projects to work on.  We also had to make and bring a dish to pass appetizer that we found on Pinterest.  It was a fun time!  We were so busy creating, that I forgot to take many pictures.

Many of us chose to make a terra cotta pot bird bath....here are some pictures of our creations.

Jeanne proudly displays her creation so far.  She's going to stencil on ivy too.  You can sneak a peek at my birdbath in the upper right....once I'm finished with the painting, I'll snap a picture for you.

Some of the gals created paper buntings, which I never got a picture of...but I did get a picture of the mess...lol

We were blessed to see both our grandbabies this weekend too, and the granny pride is welling up, so I thought I'd share a couple pictures.

Baby Allison wasn't too thrilled about getting her picture taken yesterday....she wouldn't cooperate.  She is a cutie, but in this picture she looks a little grumpy.  lol
