Catching up.....

As promised, I have some pictures to share....the first is of the Friendship Swap put on my Tricia at Hillcrest Home Prims.  Tricia chose me as her swap partner and she sent me a box of goodies....some nice patriotic rag balls, some sweet prim strawberries, a recipe, garden gloves and a little pot with pepper seeds.  Thanks so much Tricia for hosting a fun swap!

I received a sweet little 'just because' gift from Trace over at Granny Trace Scraps & Squares.  I found her blog about a month ago, and really enjoyed it...so it seemed only natural to help to promote her blog and grab her some new followers.  She was so grateful for my help, that she wanted to send me some of her adorable little chicks - aren't they the cutest!?!?  These little guys bring such a smile to my face! Thanks so much Trace - Hugs!

The next pictures are a few from our son, Drew's, graduation from college on Saturday.  He received his Bachelor's Degree in Meteorology - and graduated magna cum laude with honors!  He has made us so proud!  It was a lovely day, and my parents got to attend the ceremony and join in the festivities as well.  We had a lovely dinner out the night before, then walked along the Oswego River at night - it was a warm and delightful evening that we will remember for a long time to come.  Congratulations Drew on a great college career.  His next big step is getting married on July 2 then he starts Grad school at Cornell University in the Fall.

Drew with his fellow meteorology grads - they were a very close-knit group.

Picture of one of the buildings in Oswego lit up at night...there is also an old tunnel that is now a walkway...pretty cool.
