Wow...no posts since last Monday - I've just been so busy lately.
Mr. Whimzie was in England all last week on business.  The trip came up quite suddenly, although he knew it was coming at some point...just didn't expect it to be so soon.  Oh, how I hated him being gone so long...it was a total of 8 days...made for many a lonely day and night.  I rarely got to talk to him because he was either working or dead tired...no texting or cell phone service either.  But, he arrived home late Saturday evening safe and sound!  I made him grilled salmon, baked potatoes and fresh rhubarb crisp for dinner.  We sat out on the patio...it was a lovely evening...and caught up on things.  We almost hated to go inside, but he was so tired from being up for 22 hours...poor guy barely crawled into bed before he fell asleep.  I'm so thankful for his safe travels and that we are all back together again.

I took the time to repaint a bedroom and catch up on gardening and such.  I've also been busy finishing up my swap goodies for Amy's swap....and we are doing a little preparations for our vacation in a couple weeks.

Summer is always so busy, I will be glad to have a little time for R & R on the beach.

Well, I'm off to clean the chicken coop before it gets much hotter today.  Sorry for the boring post, but I wanted you to know I was thinking about you all and hoping things are well for you.
Sharing a picture of Peter with his little Royal Guard bear from Windsor Castle that Grandpa brought him.
Have a wonderful week ahead.
